Post: Hyperactive

The video I chose is called Hyperactive. It is a very entertaining musical piece. The video is a “beatbox” song that is created only by one man, Lasse Gjertsen. This is what Lasse had to say about his video, “Drumsolo using only a camcorder, my mouth and what looks like time consuming editing, but it really wasn't, haha, it took me a day in total.” Lasse used the growingly popular film technique known as Stop-Motion. Stop-Motion works by taking a picture or extremely short video clip and then changing position and repeating. In the end, the creator can piece together the hundred sometimes thousands of pictures and clip to create a video that flows. The main focus of this video isn’t the beatbox, creating music and sounds only with the body, but the film style. The whole point of the video is to showcase Stop-Motion in a hilarious manner.
